BC Social Enterprise Fund: 2005 Grantees

The following social enterprises were selected by the Social Enterprise Fund Advisory Committee for support in 2005. These selections were made upon the basis of a coached business plan that each group developed with the assistance of a BC Social Venture Partner.

Coast Foundation: Landscaping with Heart — For capital investment in Coast Landscapes (purchase of truck and landscaping equipment)

Neil Squire Foundation — To hire a sales and marketing specialist to fully develop a social enterprise offering rehabilitation and technology solutions for persons with disabilities

Atira Women's Resources Society — To purchase the technology infrastructure required to support property managers in the expanding property management enterprise

United We Can — To invest in development of the Urban Binning Unit Cook Studio Café for technology upgrades and sales and marketing resources for Cook Studio
