BC Social Enterprise Fund
The BC Social Enterprise Fund was created by BC Technology Social Venture Partners in 2005, in partnership with Vancity and Vancouver Foundation. The fund provides second-stage capital grants to social enterprises – nonprofits engaged in revenue -to generate activities that support their social mission.
Each candidate project is developed by a business planning team that includes at least one Social Venture Partner acting as an advisor. The funders' committee assesses and provides feedback on draft plans in order to ensure that the most viable projects reach the funding stage.
