Working with Grantees

Once you have gained some experience on the New Grants Team, we encourage you to consider working directly on a Grantee project. The Partner-Grantee coaching relationship is central to BC SVP, and most Partners find it a very rewarding experience.

For every project, there is a Lead Partner, supported by two to four additional Partners. The Lead is identified as part of the granting process, to ensure the project will have sufficient support to succeed. Then, additional partners step forward to offer targeted expertise, ongoing mentorship, or an important network connection.

While leading a project obviously requires a significant commitment, many Partners are pleased to discover how much they can contribute in a less-demanding supporting role.
